A boy preparing for college is the caretaker of his family's shrine in the mountains of Japan.
In the resort town are many hidden secrets, and many possible relationships of love. There are
so many life changing decisions to make, but can they be made and can love happen, can
relationships last when mysterious murders and even darker events lurk under the surface of
this beautiful town and its shrine?

With over 30 possible endings, each with its own variations, you'll feel like you're playing a
different game each time, as you discover new lives and stories within stories and unlock the

What is Lichtengard? It has some of the elements of rogue-like games with minimal graphics,
and simulation games with deep skill advancement, and visual novels, with plots and stories abounding.
This is a unique masterpiece of a game.

Deep as the ocean, Lichtengard is a game within a game, with hundreds of skills for your
player character, and a tend towards realism never before seen in games. Weeks and longer
of enjoyment fill this game as you'll keep coming back and discovering new stories and plots,
as you live out the life of a young man recently arrived outside the town of Lichtengard.
Test yourself continually in the city, develop your life over a period of years, that can flicker
by or move at whatever pace you set the clock.

Will you develop your sword skills, or become a baker or a doctor? Or do all of the above, and
spend time talking to the locals, who have stories and lives that change over the months and
develop alongside your own?

Will you hunt bandits, or live a peaceful life as a shepherd? Both are open to you.

Become a master craftsman, challenging others in contests of skill. Feed your pets and farm
animals, with their distinct personalities. This game is a mixture between a life simulation and a
role playing game, with a long master story the develops to fit your character.

Lichtengard is a text and graphics adventure, that takes place entirely on the game map of
the city of Lichtengard. Use your imagination, read the stories of the lives of the people of
Lichtengard, and create memories of your own.
